Dyson Airblade hands-in hand dryers gather water in the mouth of the dryer. Under heavy use conditions, the water will pool and run down the side of the unit - This is normal.
While it is normal and the way the unit is intended to operate, it may not be ideal. Dyson do issue a cleaning guide which shows how to deal with this.
The water that drips may gather underneath the unit which will not present a health and safety issue due to the small amount and that it is directly underneath the unit, however, if you would prefer this didn't happen, there is a solution.
The driplate is designed to fit neatly underneath the Dyson Airblade AB14 (and previously AB03 and AB07 models) and catch any drips of water.
It is manufactured from the same ABS plastic as the Dyson Airblade, in the same RAL colours (9023 Grey and 9003 White) with the same antimicrobial Steritouch silver-ion impregnation for prevent bacterial growth.
