Yes, they can. There is a wall mounting height we recommend for children, see below. However, as with any hand dryer, adult supervision is recommended at all times.
Dyson have worked very closely with the Disabled People’s forum to ensure that the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer can be mounted at a height suitable for many wheelchair users.
What type of wall surface is suitable for the Dyson Airblade?
The Dyson Airblade? hand dryer must be mounted on walls able to bear a load of up to 16kg. It is not recommended that the Dyson Airblade? hand dryer is positioned on weak plasterboard walls.
Is the Dyson Airblade hand dryer vandal resistant?
The Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer has been repeatedly tested for durability and resilience to physical and chemical abuse. It has also been exposed to real-life environments to ensure it can withstand the pressures of high-usage.
The Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer is very easy to clean and should be included as part of the normal washroom cleaning routine. The Dyson Airblade should have the mouth of the machine wiped out to dry off any residing water regularly at least once per day to minimise buildup, depending on how often the dryer is used.
The water collects in the mouth of the machine. If there is water collecting, it should be cleaned as part of your cleaners regular washroom maintenance schedule by simply wiping it away with a soft cloth, at least once a day depending on usage.
What is covered by the guarantee? The repair or replacement of your Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within the guarantee period. Please note that the decision to repair or replace your machine is at the sole discretion of Dyson. If any part is no longer available or out of of manufacture, Dyson will replace it with a functional replacement part.

What is not covered by the guarantee? Dyson does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a product incurred as a result of:
Normal wear and tear Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, vandalism, neglect, careless operation or handling of the machine which is not in use with Dyson's Installation and Maintenance guide. Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson. Use of parts and accessories which are not Dyson Genuine Components. Faulty installation (except where installed by Dyson). Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Dyson or its authorised agents. Dyson Airblade guarantee terms and conditions Terms and Conditions of the Dyson 5 year / 350,000 drying cycle parts and 1 year labour guarantee. The guarantee becomes effective at the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this is later). You must provide proof of delivery and/or purchase before any work is carried out on your machine. Without this proof, any work carried out will be chargeable. Please keep your receipt or delivery note. All work will be carried out by Dyson or its authorised agents. Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Dyson. The repair or replacement of your machine under guarantee will not extend the period of guarantee. The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
